Sinopsis Terlanjur Mencintaimu, Sinetron Baru RCTI Dibintangi Chicco Jerikho dan Marsha Aruan

JAKARTA, iNews.id – RCTI is back with a new drama for soap opera fans. Titled "Terlanjur Mencintaimu," the soap opera premiered on Saturday (July 4, 2026) at 8:30 PM WIB and presents a love story filled with conflict, betrayal, and surprises in every episode.

Directed by Gita Asmara, "Terlanjur Mencintaimu" stars Chicco Jerikho and Marsha Aruan as the leads. The emotional storyline, combined with various plot twists, is expected to keep viewers engaged with each character's journey.

The story centers on Arumi, a tough woman who works as a traveling barista to support her family. Amidst her struggles, she meets Rendi, a wealthy man who later wins her heart and they marry.

Arumi's happiness was short-lived. After her marriage, she learned the painful truth: Rendi already had a wife named Laura. Rendi was only exploiting the marriage so he and Laura could have children through Arumi.

Arumi then became pregnant and gave birth with the assistance of an obstetrician named Elio. The baby was pronounced dead in the accident that also claimed the life of Elio's wife. This incident left Elio harboring a grudge against Arumi.

However, in reality, Arumi's baby is still alive and is secretly cared for by Rendi and Laura as their own. As the story progresses, Elio marries Arumi not out of love, but out of revenge. Over time, Elio's hatred slowly transforms into genuine love.

RCTI's Local Acquisition & Content Development Department Head, Koento Wibisono, is optimistic that this soap opera will be a new color for the Indonesian television industry.

 "We are very optimistic that the soap opera 'Terlanjur Mencintaimu' will bring new color to the broadcasting industry, while also being a solid duet accompanying the success of 'Tobat Jatuh Cinta'," said Koento in his official statement, Thursday (2/7/2026).

He assessed that the presence of the soap opera further strengthened RCTI's position as a television station that consistently presents superior programs.

"Amidst today's fierce competition for television programming, RCTI has proven to remain resilient and consistently maintain high ratings. This achievement is a huge motivation for us to continue innovating and presenting fresh, new works," he said.

Koento hopes that Terlanjur Mencintaimu can immediately attract viewers' attention from the premiere.

 "We hope this new drama will capture the hearts of viewers from the first day of its broadcast," he said.

Besides Marsha Aruan as Arumi and Chicco Jerikho as Elio, this soap opera also stars Migdad Syaddad as Rendi, Jennifer Eve as Laura, Sari Nila as Anika, Verlita Evelyn as Celia, Sasha Alexa as Wulan, Erdin Werdyana as Kevin, and Elissa Knapp as Via.
