1. Grandpa\'s Birthday

It was my grandpa\'s birthday last Sunday. On Friday, my sister and I went shopping at the mall. We bought a nice shirt. Then, we wrapped it in blue paper. Blue is my grandpa\'s favorite colour.

On Saturday morning, my brother and I helped my sister make a birthday cake in the kitchen. It was a big and beautiful cake. I wrote "Happy Birthday" on it. After that, my brother put some chocolate and ornaments on the top of the cake.

On Sunday evening, my uncle and my aunt came to my house. They brought several bottles of soft drink and presents for grandpa. Then we sat together in the sitting room.

Finally grandpa cut the cake while we were singing a "Happy Birthday" song for him. After giving each of us a piece of cake, he opened the presents. He told us that he liked the presents and he was very happy.

2. My Bad Day

I had a terrible morning yesterday. Many things went wrong that unfortunate morning. I grabbed my coffee before I left to catch the bus. When I got on the bus, I didn\'t have my bus pass. I paid the driver with cash and sat down. After I put my bag down, I took a sip of coffee.

When I took a sip, the bus went over a bump in the road, and the coffee spilled on me. I ran to the restroom to clean up before I went to class. Then I ran to class because I knew that I was already late. To my surprise, when I got there, the room was empty. There was no class that day because my teacher was out of town.

3. My Holiday Was Fantastic

Last summer I got a fantastic holiday. I visited some great places. I went to an airport and was going to fly to Cleveland. I was spending there two days. I liked to see some Cleveland Cavaliers basketball matches.

Then I went to Hollywood. Hollywood is a famous district in Los Angeles, California, United States. It had become world-famous as the center of the film industry. Four major film companies-Paramount, Warner Bros., RKO, and Columbia-had studios in Hollywood. I did not want too leave but I had to.

After that, I went to New York City. I visited the Statue of Liberty. I went from the bottom of Manhattan to the top of the crown. That was very amazing.

The place made me feel at home but I have to go home. Next time I would return have to go home. Next time I would return to them.
