Seperti generasi sebelumnya perbedaan keduanya hanya di prosesor saja. Legion Pro 7i menggunakan prosesor Intel Core 13th Gen dan Legion Pro 7 dengan AMD Ryzen 7000 series .
Menawarkan performa paling kencang di lini Legion gamer bisa memilih opsi prosesor hingga Intel Core i9-13900HX. Sementara, versi AMD hanya tersedia dengan prosesor Ryzen 9 7945HX. Untuk performa grafis keduanya dipercayakan pada kartu grafis RTX 4090 dengan TDP 175W.

Lalu apa yang menjadikan Legion Pro 7i dan Legion Pro 7 berbeda di kelasnya? Untuk pertama kalinya di tahun ini Lenovo memperkenalkan chip kecerdasan buatan pertama di dunia untuk laptop gaming bernama Lenovo LA AI.
Didukung dengan kemampuan machine learning chip ini akan bertugas memantau beban kinerja CPU dan GPU agar gamer bisa mendapatkan pengalaman gaming yang paling maksimal. Menurut Lenovo, kombinasi machine learning dan chip LA AI mampu menawarkan TDP hingga 15% lebih tinggi. Dengan begitu memungkinkan laptop Legion Pro Series menghadirkan performa yang lebih kencang dibandingkan generasi sebelumnya.
Pembaruan kemudian terlihat di sektor pendingin. Legion Pro 7i dan Legion Pro 7 didukung sistem pendingin Legion Coldfront 5.0 dengan Hybrid Thermal. Untuk performa pendinginan yang lebih maksimal masing-masing CPU dan GPU dilengkapi liquid metal dan vapor chamber berukuran besar. Sistem pendingin terbarunya ini sanggup menangani output TDP hingga 235W.
Di sektor layar keduanya membawa layar PureSight Gaming Display 16:10 yang resolusinya 2560 x 1600. Layarnya tersebut mendukung refresh rate variabel hingga 240 Hz, 100% sRGB, Nvidia G-Sync, Dolby Vision, VESA DisplayHDR 400 dan sudah mendapatkan sertifikasi X-Rite Pantone.
Fitur lain kedua laptop ini juga akadn didukung dengan Tobii Horizon. Fitur ini adalah sebuah softwware gearless head-tracking yang mampu memberi pemain pengalaman imersif saat memainkan game favorit yang juga dibantu dengan Tobii Aware.

Legion Pro 7i rencanannya akan tersedia di bulan Maret dan Legion Pro 7 di bulan April 2023. Harga Lenovo Legion Pro 7i mulai dari US$1999.99 dan Legion Pro 7 mulai dari 2699 Euro.
